UBM Asia’s Jewellery Fairs Portfolio Update
UBM plc announced on 13 December 2016 the acquisition of Allworld Exhibitions, a leading exhibitions business operating 51 tradeshows in 11 countries and across nine industry sectors. The merger strengthens UBM's market-leading position in Asia and creates a significant opportunity for UBM to establish its presence in the Middle East. It also will enable UBM to accelerate growth through operational initiatives and application of Events First best practices.

UBM Asia’s jewellery fairs attract over 120,000 trade buyers and over 11,000 exhibitors from around the world. UBM Asia organises jewellery fairs in Hong Kong and in the mainland China cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai; Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata in India; Japan; Instanbul in Turkey; Singapore; Taiwan region; Moscow and St Petersburg in the Russian Federation; and now, through the merger, will organise shows in Malaysia and the Middle East.
